| ALIYAH KHAN "I'm not a princess, I don't need saving. I'm an Empress, I got this handled!" Aliyah is the oldest child of the Khan family, she has younger twin siblings but seeing as she was the eldest, she was the one who would now be placed on the throne to rule. She had known about it but it was something that truly scared her. She never believe she would be able to rule the kingdom the way her parents did while she was growing up. When she turned 8 years old, that was when she began her training to become the next ruler. She learned all the basics and as she got older she learned more in depth stuff. She has always hated the idea of being a ruler seeing as it took her childhood away from her. She always felt alone like she never had anyone to talk to or being around that understood everything she was going through. She had made some friends but all of them happen to be servants around the palace. Her parents weren't to keen on the idea of it but knew she needed to have some friends. While she was placed her in her normal schooling classes with her tutor she befriended a boy who was a few years older than her but she grew close with him. She found she could trust him and could talk to him in ways she couldn't talk to other people. When she was made to choose a squire, she choose him because she knew him and she knew she could trust him. When her father had pasted away she closed up and began very distance in some cases. She loved her mother but her father had always been her idol in a way. She was hurt that he wouldn't get to see her become the great ruler she hoped to be. Once she was officially crowd the empress and heard of all the families that didn't believe in her because of young age and the fact she was a female, she knew she had to do more to gain people's trust and to get them to respect her in some sort of way. She isn't sure how she is going to gain people's trust just yet, she is still learning ways to do so. |

The second child and youngest daughter of House Khan. She is something of a rarity among the women of Hanami , the second woman in a row to rise to prominence in the imperial household, after her aunt. Despite some physical limitations she is a bright, capable young woman, devout in her faith and confident in the somewhat archaic, traditional ways of her family.

SISTER Malia is kinda the exact opposite of Aliyah tbh. She's a formidable and smol powerhouse of intellect and social graces, which helps to make up for the fact she was born premature and physically, can never serve the empire like her aunt on the front lines. She's not actually too close to her sister, since the latter was probably kept apart being groomed to lead, but she tries to support her in court and she'd definately be open to having a better relationship between the two, lemme know what you think!

These two are defiantly the opposite of each other and it's very true they aren't the same. She may not seem like the type of person show she cares about people but she defiantly puts up a front when it comes to her little sister but she does love her in her own way. Yeah, I would defiantly like to work on the relationship between the two.

Aoi and Aliyah
Aliyah is so far above Aoi's status that the only way these two could possibly be friends is if they met through Akira. Otherwise, Aoi might possibly have bumped into Aliyah at palace functions (which he attends for his job) but their massively different social statuses would have served as a barrier to the two forming a friendship.
